- I received my
doctorate degree from the Sambalpur University, Orissa, India in
2000, under the supervision of Dr. R.K.Behera and Prof. G.B.
Behera in the field of Physico-Organic Chemistry ("Dye-Surfactant
Interaction"). I did my Masters and Bachelors from the same
university in 1991 and 1989 respectively.
Visiting Fellow in the Department
of Chemical Sciences, Tata
Insititute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India. Research
emphasizes on Synthesis of Photo- and Electro- active Material
.
Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Center for Molecular Design and
Recognition, Department of
Polymer Science, University of
Akron, Ohio, (2001-2002) in the research group of Prof. George
R. Newkome, emphasizes development and investigation of novel
synthetic methods and
applications especially as they relate to the design and
construction of branched polymeric and
dendritic materials and monomers. Prior to this, I was a
Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of
Chemistry at the University of
South Florida, Tampa, Florida 1999-2001 in the same
group.
